1. Who we are

SIM AI Tutor is an educational app that helps students create study goals, receive personalized lessons, answer activities, review content, ask questions, and track learning progress. It is developed and operated by JOEL G DE OLIVEIRA LTDA.

2. Data we may collect

We may collect:

1. Account data: email address, user identifier, provided name, and login provider.

2. Educational data: study goals, language, level, curriculum, lessons, answers, confidence signals, reviews, recovery activities, and progress.

3. User-submitted content: study requests, questions, images, attachments, and files submitted to generate lessons or answer questions.

4. Purchase data: transaction identifiers, purchased packages, credit balance, and records needed for support, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

5. Technical data: error logs, network status, app version, operating system, and minimal usage events needed for app functionality and stability.

3. How we use data

We use data to authenticate users, generate personalized lessons, synchronize progress across devices, display lesson history, reviews, recovery activities and questions, process payments and credits, prevent fraud, fix errors, improve stability, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing with third parties

We may use external service providers to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; AI providers to generate lessons, explanations, images, or audio when needed; Google Play for app distribution and payments; Stripe only where this payment method is allowed and configured; and observability tools to diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Minors

SIM AI Tutor may be used by students. When the user is a minor, the app should be used with consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian, according to applicable child protection laws and rules.

6. Security

We apply authentication, authorization, secure transport, user data separation, and restrictions to keep sensitive keys outside the app.

7. Retention

We keep data while the account is active or while it is needed to provide the service. Financial history and legally required records may be kept for the applicable legal period even after account deletion.

8. Account and data deletion

Users may request account deletion inside the app at:

Users may also request deletion by email at smarttutorbr@gmail.com, using the email address linked to the account, or by contacting exponencial@simaitutor.com.

The request deletes or anonymizes personal and educational data linked to the account, except for information that must be kept for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or defense of rights.

9. User rights

Users may request confirmation of data processing, access to data, correction, portability where applicable, deletion, withdrawal of consent, and information about data sharing.
